Discrimination
Discrimination generally happens when actions or treatment are taken toward a person because they belong to a particular category. Sometimes discrimination is obvious and other times it can be harder to recognize. A person can be discriminated against on the basis of age, ethnic or national origin, mental or physical disability, race or colour, religion or creed, sex/gender, or sexual orientation.

The Centre provides legal advice and assistance to individuals who have experienced discrimination in communities across Ontario. They provide this service in over 140 languages. Ontario Human Rights Code
