Public Transit

Cornwall is well serviced by one of the most efficient public transit systems in Canada, offering service from Monday through Saturday from 5:30am to 10:45pm.  The vast majority of city residents are within 300 metres of a bus stop. There are over 278 bus stops city wide.

Conventional Fixed Route Service

Service is provided via four bus routes that each have multiple stops around the city. Conventional fixed routes are designed to serve the City’s residential and business areas, with all routes terminating at the intersection of Pitt Street and Second Street.

Handi-Transit Service

Handi-Transit is a parallel service for persons with disabilities.  It is a demand, response system with accessible door to accessible door assistance provided.  Small, low floor, totally accessible buses are used to provide the service.

Community Service

Community Service is primarily designed for the seniors and persons with disabilities, but is open to anyone.  It operates on a fixed route and schedule utilizing a small, low floor, totally accessible bus.  The route touches on senior complexes, medical centers, shopping malls, hospitals, library, senior recreation centers, etc.

Tickets
